This is probably the most important page on this site to actually read.
WinkWink is a tool. What you do with it is on you.
WinkWink is deliberately designed to be useful in high-pressure situations — including ones where other tools might not be allowed. We built it. We're not going to pretend we don't know how it gets used. But we want to be clear: using WinkWink is entirely your responsibility.
Exams, interviews, and monitored situations
Many institutions, employers, certification bodies, and exam providers have rules about what tools you're allowed to use. WinkWink may be invisible to screen recording software. But it is not invisible to the humans in the room, and it is not invisible to the consequences if you're caught.
If using WinkWink would violate your university's academic integrity policy, your employer's conduct rules, a certification body's exam terms, or any other agreement you've entered into — that's your problem to navigate, not ours.
If you get caught using WinkWink somewhere you shouldn't have: that's on you. We are not liable for any academic, professional, legal, or employment consequences that result from your choices.
AI responses are not professional advice
WinkWink uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate responses. Those responses can be wrong. Nothing WinkWink tells you is legal, financial, or medical advice. Verify anything important with a qualified human.
